Hong Kong is slowly cementing it’s place as Art hub in Asia. Increasing frenzy for the renowned art exhibitions in the month of March, that starts with the The Hong Kong Art Festival, and culminates with The Art Central, Art Basel and the Asia Contemporary Art show, reflects the gaining popularity of Art in Hong Kong. The Art Central
Art Central 2019 welcomed 107 leading galleries from 22 countries, with over 30 exhibitors making their Art Central debut. The Fair welcomed over 37,000 visitors over the five-day period and featured a critically acclaimed programme including performance art, large scale installations and talks by some of the leading names in contemporary art today.

The Asia Contemporary Art Show
As the most popular hotel art fair in Asia . The Show featured 2,000+ unique artworks including original paintings, limited editions, sculpture and photography from some of the world’s most interesting emerging and mid-career artists from countries including Malaysia, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Lebanon, China, Japan, Hong Kong and many others countries.

Art Basel at the Convention Centre in Wanchai.
The Art Basel Hong Kong show was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Mar 2019, and featured premier galleries from Asia and beyond.
The show provided an in-depth overview of the region’s diversity through both historical material and cutting-edge works by established and emerging artists.
The next Art Basel show is currently going on in Basel (June 13-16, 2019).

A show by Kambal Art Gallery at Visual Art Center
“Celebrating Diversity” – Art exhibition by Kambal Art Gallery “Celebrating Diversity” art exhibition was held in Visual Art Centre on 14th-17th March 2019. The exhibition showcased art work of 20 artists from different nationalities. India was represented by the very talented artist Shweta Rastogi, who had included her work on “Love for animals”.

HONG KONG Affordable Art Fair returned for its seventh edition in May 2019, HKCEC. Over 115 local and international galleries showcased stunning collection of fresh and affordable contemporary artworks.

An Art exhibition at Auberge Hotel, Discovery Bay
In this exhibition, there were 9 artists who displayed their art at Auberge Hotel, Discovery Bay in Hong Kong on 1 st June, 2019.
Shweta Rastogi was the only Indian artist who participated and displayed her work in this exhibition here as well.
Hong Kong Desi urges more citizens to develop an interest in art and visit these art exhibitions to encourage the artists.
