First Lady of Republic of Korea, Mrs Kim Jung-sook celebrates the Deepawali with Indians this year. On eve of Deepavali (Diwali), UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath invited South Korea Queen for celebrating Deepotsava-the festival of lights.

CM Yogi announced that Faizabad district will be renamed to its original name as Ayodhya. Nawab Saadat Ali Khan, Burhan-ul-Mulk who was given a charge of Subah of Awadh renamed it as Faizabad around 1722. Current Faizabad district comprises of twin cities (Faizabad and Ayodhya), and both cities are situated on the bank of Sharayu river in Utter Pradesh.
